We tried this restaurant for the first time recently and really enjoyed visiting. We booked for a Saturday evening but it wasn’t too busy. Toilet is at the back of the room. The hummus shawarma and potato kibbeh made excellent starters. We had mixed chicken (the Julia one was quite spicy!) and the Julia fatteh (lamb) was also really good. We only seemed to get one rice between us but it was plenty so might have been 2 portions on one plate. Decently priced, will definitely visit again.

Very delicious food. Hats off to the chefs. They are really good with the dishes! The front of house staff are friendly but they need to work on their hosting skill, as I noticed they mostly hid in the corner behind the bar instead of openly patrolling and ensuring the restaurant guests were tended to. 5 stars to the chef.

Best Lebanese Restaurant in the UK! I had the pleasure of dining at Julia Restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience. The food was absolutely phenomenal—authentic Lebanese flavours executed to perfection. The presentation of each dish was impeccable, as seen in the photos. The highlight for me was the crispy and flavour-packed Fatteh, accompanied by a perfectly balanced drizzle of tahini sauce. The variety of mezze offered something for everyone, from the refreshing tabbouleh to the smoky baba ghanoush and creamy hummus. The mixed grill was cooked to perfection, with tender, juicy meats bursting with flavour. Service was warm and attentive, enhancing the overall experience. The atmosphere was cosy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a meal with friends or family. If you're looking for authentic Lebanese cuisine, Julia Restaurant is hands down the best in the UK. I can’t recommend it enough!

This was our first visit to the restaurant for our anniversary. It was a beautiful meal and the staff were very friendly. We went early in the afternoon so it was nice and quiet. We were advised that if we wanted a table later we would be best to book. The restaurant was nice and warm, we were not rushed while eating our food. The restaurant was nicely presented along with the WC. A very pleasant experience and would recommend it if you have a special occasion to celebrate.

I must admit that after having my first takeaway from here I’m actually speechless! There’s been a couple of new ‘authentic’ restaurants/takeaways that have good reviews, however, those are not in the same league as this place. In football terms, I’d say this restaurant would be in the Premier League and all the other restaurants would be in non-league. It is that good! I’ve just had the mixed kebab and the flavours are as authentic as you can get. The highlight in my opinion is the Kofte which is beyond excellent. Even the rice was full of flavour and probably the tastiest rice I’ve ever eaten! Huge credit to the chef who obviously must be very talented to be able to prepare food this good. As a side note and not to be underestimated, the delivery driver was super polite and really humble which makes a refreshing change from the usual standard of delivery drivers! I’m so looking forward to returning and having the pleasure of tasting the rest of the menu. Overall, the food is beyond excellence and simply delicious:-)

The food here was so delicious. We had the chicken kebab and the cold mezze platter - both of them were tasty and beautifully prepared. Service was friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We went to Julia Restaurant on Hulme Rd for our Xmas day meal yesterday. The food and customer service was excellent. With starters, main courses, coffee and a tip it was less than 25 each. I would definitely recommend this new Lebanese restaurant and we will all definitely return for more food soon.
